Address pain and injury by resolving soft tissue dysfunction.
I practice a style of manual therapy and massage called Hendrickson Method®. This type of rehabilitative bodywork directly addresses and resolves sources of pain in soft tissue and joints, such as scar tissue, tendonitis, nerve entrapments, arthritis, and spinal ligament and disc injuries. By properly rehabilitating chronic or acute musculoskeletal pain, you prevent it from becoming a long-term problem that leads to the need for pain medications or surgical intervention. Simultaneous to treating pain and injury, my work calms an over-stressed nervous system, and leads to greater body awareness.
